Recruiting and Employee Experience Specialist

Our client, a boutique trial and litigation law firm HQ’d here in Metro Detroit, is looking to add to their team with a Recruiting and Employee Experience Specialist.  This new position is designed to be the main point of contact in and out of the firm for all new hires, recruiting efforts and employee engagement and satisfaction.  This is a career move into a leadership role within a company that values a proactive attitude and a high level of accountability.  There is a lot of autonomy in this role, but you will have the resources of the managing partners and internal marketing team.

This position is a great fit for someone with:

·       Recruiting experience in a law firm or possibly a CPA firm.  Candidates outside of those disciplines won’t be considered.

·       Sole person responsible for recruiting efforts for attorneys, law students, interns, law clerks, paralegals and support staff.

·       High personal level of accountability and ownership in their work.

·       Experience with developing candidate pipelines with law schools and others related to the industry.

·       Interest in understanding and bettering the candidate and new hire experience.

·       Improving on existing processes and creating new ones when necessary. 

·       Interest in overall success of new hires including but not limited to contributing to:  benefit package alignment, employee reviews, recruiting software platforms, culture initiatives, employee recognition programs and more.

·       High level of accountability, integrity and having conversations with everyone from partners to support staff.

This is a salary position that may require some travel (campus recruiting events, etc).  Bachelors degree required, 5+ years in recruiting in the legal industry.  Management level work experience, reporting directly to the managing partners.  Salary of $80 – 110k plus an awesome benefit package including insurance, opportunity for bonus, PTO, etc.
