Industrial Safety Equipment Surveyor – DIRECT HIRE – Farmington Hills (50% travel)
Our client, a leader in Industrial Safety Compliance is looking to add an Industrial Safety Equipment Surveyor to their team! This position will start out being trained here locally and after a period of time, will be travelling about two weeks out of the month. Travel will be M – F, across the entire US. You will essentially be surveying industrial equipment and documenting energy sources.
The right candidate will have:
- Experience in industrial and manufacturing equipment including electrical, fluid and mechanical systems, machine tool, automation systems and more.
- Ability to work independently, strong problem solving, talk with various levels in the shop environment, and overall coordination of travel and work assignments based on need (non-emergency situation related)
- Strong communication skills regarding project status, concerns and other issues
- Strong understanding of OHSA and other safety requirements in an industrial environment
- Must be able to travel about 50% of the time. Domestic mostly, flying out Monday, returning Friday. Some projects may take weeks to complete, but you’ll be home on the weekends!
- Ability to work unlimited OT while traveling.

Paralegal – DIRECT HIRE – Troy
Our client, a boutique litigation law firm in Troy, MI is looking to add to their team with a set of dynamic paralegals! We are looking for both a Trial Paralegal and a Discovery Paralegal. Our client’s focus is complex business litigation, product liability litigation, class actions and appeals, so corporate experience is a must!
This is a great opportunity for highly organized, self motivated, dedicated individuals who have a strong sense of purpose in the legal world. Must be able to put the work in, and the rewards will follow. You’ll be a part of a team of paralegals and will be working closely with the attorney’s attached to the cases.
The right candidates must have:
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in the legal field, and experience on the corporate side, not strictly consumer
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage their time, deadlines and scheduling
- Strong MS Office skills, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- For Discovery: Draft comprehensive discovery responses for attorney review, manage document review, analyze and interpret technical information and be able to translate into discovery responses.
- For Trial: Conduct thorough independent document review and analysis and provide recommendations to resolve specific issues, schedule depositions and prepare subpoenas, drat discovery, prepare, organize and manage exhibits for the cases, attend evidentiary hearings, mock trials and more.

Salary range is $75 – $95k with paid OT. Our client offers a benefit package including fantastic insurance, 401k, paid leave, in office gym and more. Hours will vary depending on caseload, but OT will be required as needed. Core office hours are 8:30 – 5:00, and this is an in office position. Travel may be required as well.
